The Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board (HELSB) has awarded additional student loans to 690 first-year students at Mulungushi University for the 2024/2025 academic year. HELSB received 4,801 applications for sponsorship at Mulungushi University, and 1,457 students were awarded loans last month.
With this additional award, a total of 2,147 first-year students at Mulungushi University have been granted student loans for the academic year. The allocation of these additional student loans has been made possible through other sources.
Among the recipients are nine (9) students living with disabilities—six (6) males and three (3) females—representing 67% and 33%, respectively.
