About the Mauritius-Africa Scholarship Scheme (MASS)
- Eligibility: Open to resident citizens of African Union or African Commonwealth member
states. Diploma applicants must be between 18 and 26 years old by January 1, 2026. - Benefits: Covers tuition fees up to MUR 100,000, a monthly living allowance of MUR
16,500, free basic health care in public hospitals, and a return airfare to and from Mauritius. - The scholarship will also provide a pathway for students that successfully complete the
Diploma programme to transition into a Bachelor’s Degree Programme. - Application Process: Applicants must have applied for at least one full-time on-campus
program at a public higher education institution in Mauritius and submit proof of
application with the scholarship request.
Priority will be given to technical courses and hospitality-related programs, aligning
with our focus on equipping students with practical, industry-relevant skills. More
